Okay so is anyone finally going to join me in my Draft Michael Huff Campaign? I've been saying that we should draft him for the past 3 months!!! The guy can play MULTIPLE positions...something Saban likes. Griffen is good too but Huff would look real nice in a Dolphin uniform :dolphins:

Mike Maiock said on Nfl Network last night that he had Huff rated his #1 CB in the draft. He has played every DB position ove the last 4 years.

I agree. Our strength/conditioning program will put a few pounds on him. I read a write-up on him in USAToday last week where the D coach was saying how he's the smartest player on D and only needs to be shown things once. Sounds like a Saban type player. If we don't pick up Huff in the first I would expect us to get the LSU safety on day 2.

Because we (the Longhorns) shut Reggie down everytime he DID touch the ball, he wasn't effective, and that would have just been 25 more ineffective plays.

Dude, been with ya for awhile, lol, I've been lobbying for Huff then Williams for the LONGEST time. I think we finally got confidence and everything came together the last almost half of the season, so I'm willing to pass on a 1st round QB this year and take Huff in round 1. Gus isn't the longterm solution, by any means, but he can get it done for one more year. A dream scenerio would be Huff in round 1 this year, Quinn in round 1 next year.

Yeah really, what the hell, Michael Huff is 6'1", 205lbs, Ed Reed, arguably the best safety in the NFL, is 5'11", 200lbs. Huff has 2" and 5 pounds on him.
