Michael Irvin Arrested...

Irvin brings a lot of enthusiasm to the pre-game shows and he speaks his mind...But you have to wonder why he can't seem to separate himself from drugs? He may have ruined his chance of getting into the Hall of Fame by what he did this past week.

He got caught with a marijuana pipe. if it was a crack pipe it would have been a felony. I don't like irvin, but who cares. He smokes a little weed, does that make him a bad person? I don't think so. Who is he hurting doing it? The only negative side effect to marijuana is that it's illegal and there is something wrong with that.

Why the fascination with drugs ? It only shows the mental weakness of those who use it, imo.

They should fire Irvin.

is astounding.

I despise hypocrites and that is what he seems to be. He also always talking about the lord and such, and meanwhile he's sucking on a crack pipe.

Well then who, who speaks of God is not a hypocrite? Have you ever met a perfect person? Interesting.. that would make you around 2,000 years old. Stop judging people and correct yourself.

Same thing could be said of Irvin.

Actually, legality and morality are totally seperate issues. Legislation does not change the morality of any act. less intelligent people seem to connect the two through some flawed logic all the time though. I don't know why you let some of the dirtiest people in the country tell you what is right and wrong.

I've never heard Irvin condemn someone as immoral or a hypocrite. The bottom line is if you think of yourself as a Christian you should also consider yourself a hypocrite and Jesus talks of this in his parables when he states 'let the one who is without a sin throw the first stone'. If you want to tell people the right way to live but cannot live that way yourself because you are a human who can not avoid sin, the least you can do is not judge others, who like yourself, are sinners and have personal problems. Like I said, don't judge other's actions, correct your own.

And I'm not disagreement with you. I'm saying Irvin has proven himself to be a hypocrite thats all. I know I'm not perfect and would say I've been a hypocrite in some circumstances. Irvin blasted Williams when he did what he did and for that Irvin should apologize. He obviously didn't have his own house in order either.

What did he say about Williams? Didn't hear those comments

I can't tell you the exact things but in general it was about how he was a bad teammate, and person for letting his team and family down just so he can go and smoke pot. Saying that if he was Rickys teammate he would never take him back and can't believe Saban would allow it.

I agree with you 100%. I meant the only thing that is negative about the drug right now is the legal status. If you get caught with marijuana the punishment is 1000x worse than the drug itself. Anybody who says different is ignorant. I know first hand why drugs are made legal and illegal. I do not feel like explaining it, but here is a good read which is very accurate.

Everyone who watches him on TV knows Irvin is still on drugs.

anyone else read between the lines with him? he keeps saying he's talked to his lawyers about what he can do to clear his name and he says he will do everything in his power to do that. i heard him on the dan patrick show earlier today and patrick asked him flat out if he'd take a drug test and he dodged the question by saying he'd do everything in his power to clear his name.

sounds like a bunch of b.s. to me. if you want to clear your name all you have to do is piss in a cup in front of somebody, get it analyzed and end of story. i think he's full of ****.
