Michael Munoz quits football

Just read it on ESPN, said he quit because he wasn't drafted. Felt the NFL wasn't for him.

Wow. This really makes me feel good about not selecting him.

I love the game of football. I play every chance I can. I trained for Law School Intramural football. If I had a chance to go to the NFL, I'd do everything in my power to get there. I sat next to a guy on a plane who played backup CB for the Ravens they year they won the SB. He was flying to Detroit to try out for them, and then to like 5-6 other teams after that.

Not being drafted isn't a reason to give up. This sounds like either (1) a guy pushed into football by his father whose heart wasn't in it, or (2) a guy discouraged by injuries.

Seems like a lot of people liked Munoz and he's gone like that.
