Michael Ola of Montreal Alouettes Signs

what are his other measurables? like speed and hands? maybe he can be a blocking TE, with the option to pass to him?

i have no idea...i'm gonnas see if i can find some video of his work in the cfl...i will take anything with athletic upside in the building as a potential develpmental player on the oline especially...

will yeatman was similar size weight wise before he added weight and a tight end coming in and he's a TERRIFIC move/feet athlete at tackle...

i noticed yesterday watching some a & m tape those tackles technique is WAY better than ours...all predicated on foot movement first and foremost...would like their oline coach for the tackles at least...our technique seargent slaughter coaches sucks

a 280 lb tackle is a tight end although if 6 ft 8 is legit he should have the frame to add/carry more good weight...that height though can play against him leverage wise

Not 6'8" Measured 6'2 1/2" and 302 lbs at his pro day. Pretty good quickness from his spilts and short shuttle drills. 5.23 40-yard dash, 1.87 10-yard, 4.80 20-yard shuttle, 3-cone of 7.35.

Compare that to Chance Warmack from last year...5.49 40-yard dash, 1.90 10-yard, 5.01 20-yard shuttle, 3-cone of 7.93.

Or Jonathan Cooper...5.04 40-yard dash, 1.72 10-yard, 4.84 20-yard shuttle, 3-cone of 7.78.

Of course that doesn't mean he can pick up blocking concepts, has the reaction time to pick up blitzes and stunts and all the other stuff that goes into the game mentally but at least he has some athleticism.

oh well with that height he's probably a guard in the nfl...too short to play tackle in the pros unless he's got like 37 inch arms ha ha...probably pretty good feet if he played tackle in the cfl but he better be stout if he's gonna make a nfl guard...280 is light also even for our ideal system fit move athlete...

I have no issue with this signing. Maybe he can help. Maybe he is cut. He played for Marc Trestman.

thanks truth i will check that out when i get to where i can access it...

i wonder if they will sign danny watkins for another one year camp run...i have to say i am really dissapointed he couldn't get any run this year...that kids an athlete and a scheme fit...he must really not want to play football

I got no issue bringing back Dmitri Tsoumpas for Danny Watkins if they want a token CDN who competes
