BETTER QB: MARINO OR YOUNG?

Everyone is going for Young.

Michael Smith - Lists off the talent the 49ers had then lists off Marino's players, and says Miami had FAR less talent. "Could exeed with far less talent."

Not everyone on ESPN hates Marino. :D
 
yea i just saw it, mike made em all look stupid, they all kept saying the same **** and woody... woody is just ignorant.
 
I was just about to comment on that. Aint it funny how when he started defending Marino the host muted him? I tell you ESPN is something else.

...I'm glad I didn't watch that crap today. If I would have seen Marioti bash Dan Marino, I probably would have broken something by flinging a projectile, and that would not be good.

I hate Mariotti as it is.

Oh yeah, this just in....ESPN SUCKS

Young could run, but it's not like Dan was immobile. He had great pocket presence and could avoid a sack like no one else.
 
haha... you guys and your conspericies... But I do have to say that before this season, ESPN hasnt payed much attention to the fins. Anyway, they all had good points... but Marino was a fin so I have to go with him :lol:

It is true -- we're getting some great press coverage. More positive than I would have thought.
 
Who cares what a bunch of talking heads say? You have to look at these shows as entertainment and nothing more. These guys scream and shout over each other to try and get your attention. This is why Steve A. Smith has his own show and Rome and all the others. Whoever talks the loudest is right in ESPN's mindset.

I too despise that blabbering pig faced piece of sh**! That guy is the poster boy of the ignorant 24 hr. blabberfest that much of sports journalism has become. I don't even know why Young was such a lock for the hall of fame. His career numbers weren't that great. Yeah, he won a Super Bowl, so did Jeff Hostetler. The guy was a total product of the system the Niners had going over that time.
