Michael Thomas is the team's TOP special teams speed guy, and that's an area Miami has struggled with all year. This isn't good.

Man, Speedy recovery to Michael. I love the passion he brought to the game..tough loss!

Big loss if true. He has been a quiet contributor this year, but a valuable one nonetheless

Damn, that will be a tough loss if true. He's a quiet contributor on defense and an excellent special teams player.

That sucks big time. Thomas was playing really well on special teams and in the nickel. This puts Jimmy Wilson back on the field and he's not looked good this year.

A chest injury? Are we talking ribs or something internal? Either way prayers for Thomas and hope for a speedy recovery. He's a talented young kid and we'll need him next year.

Hey...I don't know if Walt Aikens is up for it yet, but it will be curious to see if another pick from this year's class gets the call to play.

Torn pectoral muscle.

Hopefully! He's a play maker. That INT he had against the Raiders was a thing of beauty, sorta Grimes-ish

Torn pectoral muscle.

Oh ****! Being an Atlanta Hawks fan, I've seen that impact our star player Al Horford in 2 of the last 3 years. They finally figured that it was from doing too much heavy lifting and caused a bunch of scar tissue in there. I wonder if that's the case with Thomas well. Either way he's probably done for a full calendar year as it takes a long time to recover and get your strength back. Then you've got to hope there's no compensation being done by the other pec and end up tearing that as well.
