anyone know anything about his status? I know he is still unsigned but I haven't heard of talks on resigning or any scheduled visits to other teams. He is limited on D but very valuable on special teams and great in the community. Anyone heard anything on him?

Special teamers are third tier. He will go in the next few days. Perhaps even back to San Fran. Maybe the Colts.

.. and while Michael Thomas was a good ST he was limited everywhere else (but a stand-up guy in the community and at events- no question)..

I believe by re-signing Atkins that confirmed he was gone gone..

Hey the guy was decent though somewhat limited, when his name was called he stepped up. Plus consider all the horribe coaching we have had no telling how much better he might have been.

He didn't die, he is just going to another team. We don't have to make up good things to say about his play. He was a really bad safety. Excellent special teamer, very bad safety.

Thomas is only good for special teams and that's it. He gets eaten alive when he has to play any time on defense.

Solid backup special teamer. Made a career off one big play bit good for him. I wish him the best but want to upgrade the roster and his height/weight/speed isnt good enough to play regularly.

That's not what I said. I said Julius Thomas was guaranteed to be gone because he is terrible.
