Michael Thomas to Start Sunday?

It honestly sounds to me like they're not so much down on Delmas as they are very high on Thomas.

Jamar Taylor & Will Davis....looking awesome.

I don't think this latest move is about Delmas at all. Acording to the article the safeties will be Delmas and Thomas. Maybe all those crosses that watkins was wide open on that we were assuming was the responsibility of the LB were actually blown coverages by the corner.

DAVIE - The mystery surrounding Louis Delmas' recent demotion from his starting role, and his limited participation in this week's practices has been solved

Delmas, who began the season as the Miami Dolphins' starting strong safety, appears to be battling a calf injury according to the injury report the Dolphins released on Wednesday.

The calf injury helps explain why second-year safety Michael Thomas started in his place as the safety paired with Jimmy Wilson during last Sunday's loss to Buffalo, and why Thomas continues to get significant reps during practice.

Thomas can plat CB or safety
Delmas is dinged and not as strong as Thomas against the run
Wilson sucks the Big Red One at safety.
By the way, so far this season, Davis has been the best CB not named Brent Grimes on the field.

It was already quietly announced earlier that Delmas was getting benched in favor of Thomas. Seems like a pretty stupid move to me, considering it seemed like Thomas was lucky not to be cut before the season and was absolutely invisible all offseason and preseason.

I dunno but I'm pretty sure I saw Wilson completely whiff on a tackle Sunday. Jimmy is a liability at safety, especially with the linebackers so banged up.

I just do not get the love affair with Wilson in FH. He can blitz a QB...that's about it...

He is the very best Miami Dolphin at reading the opposing team Offense on the field and moving the DB's into position. He is considered to have a very rare talent in this capacity. Coyle understands how great Jimmy is in reading Offenses and accommodates some of his other weaknesses.
He's also great on Special Teams at setting the field and one wonders if Jimmy filling in for Jones and Trusnik for Misi is why the Special Teams got so badly gashed last week.
