Michael Thomas

Dude beasted on the last drive- absolutely beasted. Incredible job by Michael Thomas today! I didn't know who he was until the other day lol.

Of all the players from the defensive side, the one guy who made real positive plays was Thomas. I kept saying to the Pats fans around me that I wasn't even sure who he was but he was saving the Dolphins season. He had two great pass breakups, including a tough matchup one on one on I believe Amendola in the red zone, and of course the game ending pick. Fantastic game.

Between him and Brenner, Ireland is striking gold on these PS guys.

What an amazing story, regardless of what happens to his career today's game will be something that he will have the rest of his life. I feel happy for the guy!

In defense of Will Davis.... Brady looks for a perceived weakness and goes after it. Davis is a rookie going against one of the best passing teams in the NFL. On top of that, Davis has gotten little to no game experience going into this game, where he is thrust in by injury. Thomas actually has MORE experience in that he is nearing his second year in the NFL. I am thankful for Thomas but not ready to give up on Davis yet.

Agreed. I actually thought that Davis was in decent (not great) coverage, but Tom Brady is well Tom Brady. He was playing a little loose on some coverages.
He can use this as learning experience against one of the greatest QB's in history

Big thing there is we had Wilson and Davis playing way off which IMO against Edleman and Amendola is a huge mistake as they aren't looking for deep passes. The silver lining is DAvis didn't give up much YAC

Michael Thomas doesn't even have a wikipedia page yet. He will by the end of the day I imagine.

you know what.. we may have find a keeper in michael thomas. San fran apparently was very high on him that they even increased his weekly salary just to keep him on their practice squad. Hopefully thomas turns out to be another gem like cam wake.

this guy deserves a thread.. 2 big plays on that last drive

Before this week, the only Michael Thomas I knew was the one who lived down the street. Truly a remarkable final drive for the kid. Great moment on the sidelines with him getting emotional. That's a microcosm of our season. The underdog comes up big when it's needed the most.

he wasnt giving up the big play. He actually tackled well vs. his college highlight reel. He was playing tight.

My problem is with our LB's. Do they not know how to cut off a route that is run over and over and over again? It should have been obvious by 4th qtr.

Give it a break man....

You're right. He signed a good player from another team's practice squad as a band-aid to cover his own mistakes. IRELAND IS the GREETEST GM EVAR!!!!!!!1!!11!!!!

I'm not going to fault Davis for playing off his WR a giving up 6 yard chunks. He kept his guy on the inside and no big plays or missed tackles.
