According to Peter King on SI, he thinks Turner can be had for a high second round pick. Would he be worth our #40 pick? It would be a mad combo backfield with he and Brown.

Turner and Brown.........sounds like a detective show...:D

"Smart money around the NFL thinks Smith will take a high second-round pick for Turner ... if the Chargers have a player in mind at the top of the second round they like more than Turner. If they don't deal Turner now, and then don't re-sign him before January, they're likely to lose him in free agency next offseason."

no...use that #40 pick for OL....dont matter who our RB is if our line cant open holes

and it seems everyone is forgetting how good Ronnie has looked when he's gotten the opportunity (Bears game stands out)

And we would do this why?

If Ricky returns, which it looks like he will, we will already have the best backup runningback in the league. I'm sorry, but Michael Turner is not worth a second round pick. I'd have a hard time giving up a second round pick for ANY running back with the exception of Tomlinson. It is a position whose success is almost completely dependent on the o-line's success. Is Turner a good runningback? Yes. But a lot of that has to do with San Diego's excellent o-line.

Were fine with RB, we have much bigger pressing issues.
