No offense, but a lot of you are clueless how sports media job is supposed to work. You're SUPPOSED to have a strong opinion about them - love or hate - that means they're getting an emotional response out of you. Most of them don't have strong negative feelings toward teams/players but they have to act like they do otherwise there is no fun and no ratings. Remember Dan Marino was middle of road on pretty much most players? He got dropped from CBS pretty quick.
Just saying, Miami hasn't been an excellent franchise for over a decade, so no one really owes us any respect. We have to at least get in the playoffs before people will give Tannehill the credit that he is probably due. Without team success, they're just stats. We have to win, we have to get in the playoffs, then they will get respect.
But in regards to the sports analysts, you just have to understand it is their job to be over the top - that's why Stephen A Smith is so popular.
(for the record, I actually like PTI and it's really the only show on ESPN I catch every once in awhile)
