micheal Barrow

It's from the Miami Herald. Interesting is all I can say. He's old but is a proven player. I don't think we'd offer much....I doubt any draft picks...we're building and an ageing linebacker isn't an urgent need.

why is Saban interested? We dont need another MLB, especially one thats 35 years old. Our aging defense just keeps getting older, even though that Saban said his goal was to get younger.

Why are you guys going after so many older players? barrow wasn't very good before he got hurt and now he is coming off a year off and he is old. Stay away, trust me on this.

We must remember that Washington initiated contact here. Saban hasn't been stiffed with a deal...he'd offer about a 7th round conditional

a conditional 7th rounder is the best wash could hope tp get but why would a team even offer that? Barrow is about done and wash will release him anyway. If you think he can play the wait until he is released and pick him up cheap and it becomes a no risk move.

Thats something Wanny and Rick would have done.Giving up a draft pick for someone who was going to be cut anyway.

Let the shoe drop and wait until he is available. He could be considered for a one year contract for the vet min if we have an injury.

He had 148 tackles in '03. Stats look good.

Tackle stats are very decieving, he was ALOT better in 2002 but only had 109 tackles. In '03 the Giants D was bad and he was major part of it, he wasn't making impact plays, he was getting tackles 5-10 yards downfield instead of near the LOS. His best days are long behind him and coming off injury it would be a mistake to trade for him. Why would the skins who need LBs trade off a guy they thought could help them?
