Michigan looking for another Major team to play

Several schools have applied it sounds like. I wonder who they are. I hope its someone from the SEC. Vanderbilt actually gave them a good game last year

Yeah, after watching that game last year I thought Michigan was in for a very down year but they picked it up pretty good. Vandy wasn't to bad last year either though especially considering they lost Cutler.

Interesting to see who it'll be. I think another SEC game would be cool for them. Maybe Auburn or Tennessee. Haven't seen them get into ACC country too much either, what about Florida State?

Based on their lack of success against southern teams in recent history, they'll probably schedule Maryland or something. No way they schedule Tennessee or Auburn unless they wanna get swept.

And they won't play FSU because the last time they played (1991 I believe) FSU embarassed them in Ann Arbor.

I'd almost guarante that one of those schools is Louisville. We're constantly trying to get a power school like that in a home and home with us. All of the ones Jurich (U of L AD) has approached either say "no" out right or only want to play us at their place and not a return game.

People can say what they want about our schedule this year, but we had Boston College and Georgia Tech on the schedule for this season until a year ago when they bought their way out of the contract, leaving U of L with a year to fill 2 spots...South Carolina had a corresponding open date with us, but the 'ol ball coach said no. We had to settle for Murray State (instate school) and Middle Tennessee St.

Funny you should mention that game. Of all the games I've ever seen in person or watched on TV as an FSU fan, that game seems to stick out in my mind alot. I just remember T-Buck picking off that first pass of the game and running it in for the TD, it just totally shut that place down right off the bat.
