Half way thru the season, here is a list of the guys I think are playing to/above or below expectations. Feel free to add to the list:

Standouts:

Zach Thomas
Lance Schulters
Ronnie Brown (6.2 ypc since week 3, just thought I'd drop that in conversation)
Keith Traylor
Vonnie Holliday
Kevin Carter
Jason Taylor
Bryan Gilmore (ST)
Wes Welker (Offense)
Will Muschamp/Richard Smith
Olindo Mare

Sitdowns:

Wes Welker (ST)
Sam Madison
Reggie Howard
Gus Frerotte
Donnie Jones (excl. Falcons game, played well)

i like how all the announcers all say welker is a very dangerous returner...they all say it at least 2x a game...hyped up.

i wouldnt say hes been bad, hes been good on punts and average on kick offs

I have to add Crowder as a stand out also, he is a player there is no doubt about it...

and on Welker, I have heard that there has been changes in the blocking schemes on ST and players are going through growing pains in learning them. Maybe its true, but it would be an excuse as to why Wes is having trouble in those returns...

You want to sitdown Madison.....this man gets no respect from some of us fans. I know he might have lost a step but no way does he sitdown.

Ok, Wes is 29th in the NFL in KR...Not good. He is 2nd in the NFL in punt returns...Don't think he can be considered a sitter. Come on now. Just because he hasn't returned one for a TD

Nah man, I didn't mean sit him down as in bench him, I meant as in he's ill-performing. Should've cleared that up.

Until these guys fix the first drive problems, they won't get any praise from me.....

Welker is a good punt returner. He has been consistent in giving postitive gains. However, his kickoff returns have been weak as of late. Also, I think Donnie Jones has been a pleasent suprise. He started off not so good, but he is improving. I believe he is better than Turk.
