Lauderdale is pretty fun all by itself anyway. I prefer it to south beach.

the stadium isnt far at all and the city has a pretty good night scene... i guarantee you wont feel the need to drive to miami every weekend...
you would be surprised. With expansion the areas are relatively connected and it doesn't take too long to get from one place to the other. I frequently fly out of FLL when i go to miami. so people going to the game from out of town look at flights in both FLL and MIA
I'm not from FL so im going for a vacation. its for 3 days. either there or orlando. Ft Lauderdale ya'll say huh? I wna check out hte dolphin facility or w/e it is the headquarters if I can, go to some bars, definitely hit up south beach once.

Fort Lauderdale has a decent night scene, but Miami is the reason people visit South Florida. Don't just hit up South Beach, though. Downtown is coming back and the Grove is still pretty good. Also, don't forget Little Havana and Brickell. Have a great time!

well if you wanna go to south beach and the dolphins training facility ft lauderdale is your only option
unless you like driving 4+ hours each way

dude dont go to daytona... i went there 2 years ago for spring break and i was dissapointed.. peole dont go to daytona anymore to party unless its the bike week... i should of went to panama city.. i heard that place was off the hook!
I always enjoy going to Hollywood...I like that and the Lauderdale area a whole hell of a lot better than Miami proper.

Yeah, Ft. Lauderdale is your best bet. You should swing by South Beach one night, but in Lauderdale you have the Hard Rock and Downtown which are both pretty good options.

from somebody who grew up in ft lauderdale and now lives in orlando,
fort lauderdale is much nicer.
Orlando has a decent bar/club scene downtown but so does fort lauderdale. But fort lauderdale has the beach and the dolphins practice facility. not to mention the stadium is just barely on the miami side of the border between the cities.
South Beach is crazier but fort Lauderdale is good too. Dont go to daytona.
Destin is mainly a tourist spot, not as much of a party scene from what ive seen.
If in fort lauderdale, go to las olas, the strip (beach), or the hardrock
Good luck and consume large quantities of alcohol
