Mike and Mike from ESPN

Mike & Mike says that we are a mess down here!!! From what was done to Soprano and what the FO has done with the Henne Orton ficasco. I think Henne will be much improved but it's apparent we are becoming a laughing stock team in the NFL

"Becoming" ??

where have you been ???

Miami has been a laughing stock for a decade,

And if for some reason both these guys loved the Dolphins offseason and chances going in to the season? As irrelevant as their stand on the team currently

Mike and Mike only said what the rest of the national media is thinking.

You might be right, but just this weekend I had a conversation with a friend who's a lifelong Giants fan who brought up the effeminate Mike and how disgraceful it is for him to be such a flagrant homer on a national show. We both agreed it would be fine if he was a local sportscaster, but IMO those who think his shtick is endearing don't extend far beyond jersey. When it comes to the Fins and Pats, his passive aggressive faux impartiality doesn't mask his hatred for them and should fool no one. That's why I take his opinions with a grain of salt.

If the Jets did what Miami has done we would all be happy as pigs in you know what. Fact is our defense is good but our offense has ALOT to prove. Our QB and oline situation is not set up for success this season. Untill the games are played nobody knows what will happen but I dont feel confidence in Henne or the oline or an often injured reggie bush or a rookie rb in Thomas. I need to see it before I can be happy with what we have done. I hope Reggie is awesome and Henne is great and we are undefeated but I am realistic and I am not to confident right now.

I roflmao watching Greenie the day after we beat his Jets! As much as we suck it is a given we will at least split with them and it will wreck the little HOMERS world.

Despite what some of you negative nancys and a Jets fan on the radio thinks, this team is not a mess. They currently have a very talented team with question marks at quarterback really the only issue. Even without an upgrade at QB, this team wins 8-9 games easily.

I have never seen a team coming off a 7 win season considered to be a "laughing stock". That is reserved for teams that win one to two games a year. The Bills are a laughing stock, the Dolphins are not. They are a team on the verge of getting back in the playoffs.

Greenie is a serious jest homer and Golic has held a grudge against the Phins ever since Shula cut him back in the 90's. Maybe they're right, but I wouldn't expect any objectivity from these clowns. Nothing to see here, move along.

Exacyly who cares - more fodder to get motivated

When I look at this team, and look at our schedule, this team could very well finish around 9-7 to 11-5. Our schedule isnt THAT hard on paper when looking at it this year.. Compared to last year where we finished 7-9, and we improved on defense, and added some playmakers. WHo knows how Daboll coaching will go, he may be worst than Henning, I still expect us to improve this season..

I still laugh when I think of his show the morning after we beat them to win the division and knock them out of the playoffs in 2008, that was about as sweet as it gets, lmao

Why are some of you even Dolphin fans? All you do is bash this team no matter what they do..Again I will repeat this...if we get Orton, and the first sign of him being on par with Henne EVERYONE of you who BEGGED, prayed for, and pleaded for him to be a Dolphin will mark it as the worst move in franchise history...this is why I dont come to this board much..all a lot of you do is piss and moan about everything and everyone...

Like them or not, you have to admit they have some valid points. Between the FO and QB situation, we've really botched it. Now I'll admit we've improved our D and special teams, but really haven't done anything to the offense. Bush will help with ST and a decent option on 3rd downs. But lost our two main RB's. Have a rookie and 3rd down back to replace the. Our O-line was not great last year. We drafted one guy and seem to be collecting everyone's cast-offs to try and improve on that. QB? TE? Another WR threat? We'll do a decent job holding down teams defensively, but if we don't score points, it's going to hard to win games.

Ronnie Brown put it best, when he said, "The players love Sparano, but had a severe problem with Henning, and they believe Henne can turn it around." Mike and Mike each have an agenda with Miami , Greenie with being a Jets fan, and Golic hating Miami because the big, bad Shula, cut him, so it is the very rare time that you will hear good things about Miami from these 2.

Miami players still believe in their coaches, and bad preseason or not, still believe in Henne. The Defense will be better, Henne should improve in the next few weeks, and with a deeper O-line, the running and passing to should be better. Until we see thier 1st game against the Patriots, the only mess in Miami is how much some fans are acting like Jets fans, and booing their starting QB after only a little more then half a season of looking bad.

Those players who love Sparano really put their hearts on the line for him the end of last season. Losing to the Bills, Browns and Lions at home, and being spanked by the Pats who played the beer vendors for half the game was really a statement of their love for their head coach.
