John clayton was just on Mike and Mike in the morning on espn radio. He said that if Bress goes to saints That Culpepper will be a dolphin. That at this time there are no other takers for him but the sticking point remains that the viking will not let him take a physical for the dolphins.

That's some serious bad blood on the Vikings side! There must really be hurting about the whole Culpepper issue.

No way in H-E-double hockey sticks would the Fins sign any body coming off injury without a very thorough medical exam.

that is the 3rd time I heard MN is not allowing a team to take his physical. how do they expect to trade him?

It seems to be about payback to Culpepper. It's obvious he wants to have a chance of coming to the Dolphins and the Vikings are willings to take a knock in trade value to harm his chances.

Either that or the injury is far worse than everyone has let on.

Yet Brees lets all see his records and examine him.

I would not touch Cullpepper.

You can say that again. Especially after all the poking and proding that Brees took all day yesterday. To put up with all of that, it tells me he really wants to be here. I don't think the Saints did anything like that during his visit there.

And since there's no way we'd sign him without a physical, guess that ends any speculation about Culpepper coming here. A good thing, in my opinion.

I can't imagine why the Vikes, who obviously want him traded, won't let him be examined. Payback to Culp ?? I doubt it..why hurt the franchise by not getting the best deal possible...this seems to indicate that there is more to the injury than has been let on....Hiding some cartilige damage is one thing, but this just smells fishy on someone's part somewhere...

Well how do the expect Saban to give them a 2nd rd pick without doing a throrough check up on Daunte? Im sure that by now everybody in the NFL know how Saban operates...so I think the Vikings are doing this because they know nobody wants to give them what they are asking without a medical exam. So, in other words, they keep Culpepper!

The more Culpepper highlights I see, the less I want to see him in a Dolphins uniform...

I wouldnt go near culpepper with his injury and then the vikings rejecting the chance of a physical, the injury he suffered was severe and will certainly effect the way he plays when he returns coz he was a bit of a runner and liked to use his speed out of the pocket the injury he sustained will have slowed him up considerably and theirs a good chance wont be what he once was

It's not Daunte that wont' allow it, it is the Vikings organization. Which IMO is a very very dirty and spiteful trick to play.

If I were Daunte, I'd get my legal team together, and then personally allow a physical to be had on my own time and money right now since it is the off season. And I would mail that neutral party Dr's report to Miami. I am willing to bet Daunte would win in court if Minny found out somehow and tried to persue cash, etc.

Culpepper is a chip

That's it. A bargaining chip. I am not convinced either Brees or Culpepper are the QB Miami really wants. If this QB extends through April and Miami has not signed a FA QB starter, I believe there will be tons of movement and posturing during the Draft.

I have to believe that Miami's QB is in this years draft, not a fA.

yeah its very weird that they wont let anyone check him out... but i mean it cant be worse than whats already known about it can it? i mean its already an MCL ACL and PCL tear, all the major ligaments torn, how can it be worse than that?
