I did not see this posted, but Mike Golic had some extra information I had not heard. Jonathan Martin was "fined" $15,000 via the Kangaroo Court of the team because his rookie year he did not or refused to help pay for the rookie meal. That is where the $15,000 to Vegas came from.
I thought it was interesting and wanted to pass along.
In the end, the letter of the law will be with Martin. However, Martin will be guilty of stepping all over the written laws of brotherhood of the locker room and team.
Non-athletes will support Martin, but those that played the game will know there are certain things you do to be part of the team even though they might not happen in a "regular place of work.
