Some in league circles wonder whether he’s simply not ready to throw, despite his readiness to join a new team. If that’s the case, all it takes is one owner (cough . . . Stephen Ross . . . cough) sufficiently desperate to sell tickets now to take the requirement that he prove his abilities off the table.

In the end, if Manning chooses Miami, that could be the reason for it. Ross could be the only owner who’ll pay him millions, sight unseen.

What wrong with paying him millions sight unseen. Manning is a sure fire 1st round HOF QB... I hope we get him and fast so we can turn other team needs thru FA and the Draft.

It is beyond me that this guy has weasled his way into a real job reporting on the NFL. He is a mindless troll who does little more than speculate and hope something sticks. To see him on Sunday Night in the NFL with Dungy and crew is an absolute disgrace.

He clearly has a thing against the Dolphins and Steven Ross, and cheap shots them at any given chance.

If we had landed Fisher, Florio would be bashing us for hiring him and allowing him to hire Gregg Williams the bounty hunter. He puts a negative spin on everything the Dolphins do. He is a tool.

I think he's beginning to see the writing on the wall that Manning has a great chance of signing with the fins and now is trying to come up with excuses for his shotty journalism to cover is ass when he is wrong.

I used to like PFT before it became affiliated with NBC, when it was just a news source for NFL topics. Now all it is, is Florio adding his crappy opinion to every story. I don't think he as actually even broken a story in the NFL and now people log on to his sight for news just as much as ESPN/SI/FOX. Kudos to the guy for somehow making that happen but it still doesn't change the fact he's a hack.
 
I dont know what it is but it seems like PFT always puts out a negative connotation on the Phins. **** Florio and PFT.
 
Florio is the nerd who did the football players homework. I can tell when I'm reading a PFT article if he wrote it or not. He seems pretty anti Miami. Pip squeak.
