All speculation, but he says that Manning having a house in South Florida means nothing and that Manning will use the Dolphins and the Redskins to drive up the price for a third team that he really wants to go to. Says that "Miami will get used like Fisher used them". Also claims that Ross hasn't learned that he will keep getting used.

In a related note, Rich Eisen was on WQAM yesterday and fully expects Miami to sign Manning. lol. Enjoy all the speculation we will be hearing until this matter is resolved.
 
The shyster has long had a hard-on over The Fins.. but not discounting that, like a broken clock, he may end up being right once or twice. Generally I don't place much credence in his op-ed takes. :idk:
 
I'd be alright with that. He can use us like Fisher did just so long as he doesn't end up here. I'm sure Vegas has an over/under on him for number of games played at 8 for next year.
 
Given recent history, I'd be more surprised if he DIDN'T use us in that manner.

As you say he has a home in South Florida, Ross will pay him big $$$$.

Good defence, elite reciever in BM#19, two cracks at Brady a year, some strong pieces on the O-Line (Long, Pouncey) with RT to be upgraded in the draft, vastly improved run game with Reggie, bright young and hungry coaching staff.

Why wouldn't he seriously consider that?
 
Because we are still a joke of a franchise.

We have to show some success and impress the NFL again before people start taking us seriously once again.

Bit harsh but unfortunately I can't come up with a reasonable argument against this statement
 
I doubt Florio really knows where P. Manning wants to play, but I cannot see him going to a team that is rebuilding and starting over? On the NFL Network they were showing the Skin's cap space and there probably is no team that could match what the Skin's could pay him. There are other teams that have similar cap space but most of them already have their QB. The Skins have about $41 million in cap space. Cleveland has around $33 million so they might also make an offer. KC is $34 million under, Arizona $37 million, and Seattle $39 million. The Phins have around $16 million in cap space, so I doubt we can compete with these other teams.

If Cleveland doesn't think Manning would be the answer, or willing to stay with McCoy, they would probably draft RG3. I think the Skins would be the frontrunners right now.

See I don't think it is all about money for Peyton.

He wants another ring, I don't care if he is 100% he won't win one with Washington, their just awful. We're a QB away from being an instant contender.

His decision will come down to who he has the best chance to win a second ring with, and that team certainly is not Washington.
 
I am all for realism, but Florio has an obvious bias against Miami. I cannot remember him ever saying anything positive about Miami, even when warranted. If someone can point me to something he said positive about Miami, then I stand corrected.

My point is, you're not reliable unless you're even handed. Its just as bad as the Miami homer who defends every move Miami makes, everybody Miami acquires is awesome etc. Florio is just the mirror image of that. Take a shot at Miami every turn.

He did when we drafted Pat White. Dude had a huge hard on for him.
 
I personally think Manning ends up in PHX. Playing indoors, cap space, Fitz, weak div. and Wisenhunt.
 
Telling u right now it ain't Washington. Never will be. He's to smart to go to a ****ty team.

He would choose Arizona over them 100%. If I'm him I'm taking Arizona because in Miami u have jets and NE than Pitts than Balt than your thinking I Have to fight those CONSISTENT TEAMS where as the only consistent team in the NFC are the G and the pack and they are easier to beat than Balt or Piit or NE
