Mike Francessa in NY just said

Francessa just likes to hear him self talk. Guy's got the biggest ego around. Would not listen to him.
he couldnt take everybody else talking about peyton, so he decided he would sling some crap on the wall too. monkey see, monkey do

Fisher didn't say no. We said no to fishers demands so he went elsewhere. Francessa is parcells lapdog so it's not surprising that he said that.[/QUOTE. True but his demand was to get rid of Ireland correct the same reason we heard Cowher didn't want the job? Maybe ireland isn't well respected around the league

Fisher's demand wasn't to get rid of Ireland. He actually spoke very highly of Jeff and supposedly wanted him to come to the Rams. Fisher's issue was more of the amount of control he wanted.

As for Cowher, he didn't want the job because he doesn't want to coach right now. If he did someone would have offered him a job already.

Mike likes people to believe he is smartest man in room and he is not, some of the things he says are so off the mark, people just say things to see what sticks

Also. His show is awful. There is never anything insightful or thoughtful that comes out of his mouth. It's always insipid blather. It caters to the mindless masses. Hence why his show has a following in NYC.
if u listen to him enough, its kind of comical his show. he hates the jets, so its funny listenining to him speaking about the jets when its football season.

he will always make up excuses when hes wrong, he always thinks hes right with the callers, and when they catch him in a lie, he hangs up. it is comical, and that is why i listen.

sometimes he is right, but many times he is flat out wrong.

like yesterday he said something along the lines how peyton manning will go where he gets the most money, which although it remains to be seen if that is true or not, i would think many people, including myself and many nfl insiders would agree that he will go to the best situation where he can thrive for the next few years, rather than go somewhere just because he will make 3-4 million extra per year, especially at this stage in his career where he has tons of money from his football days, his commercials, and he will make plenty of money post nfl career. money is the least of his concerns.

Hes hearing Peyton Manning isn't happy with miami dolphins instability in their front office and that might be a big factor in decesion. Take it for what it's worth but isn't that why fisher said no?

Well, I am not happy with the instability in Mike Francessa's head, that's why I choose to ignore most of what he says.

Maybe he's talking about the Jets? Sure, a year ago you could argue front office instability for Miami. However, times have changed. Parcells. That fat loser is gone. Morono. He's now up in Jersey sharing a plate of meatballs with Rex Ryan.

Instability............. are you ****ting me. We just cleaned house. Damn how full of **** is this guy???:idk:

You have no idea how full of it he is. As far as he is concernedm his opinions are as good as truths.

LOL @ people claiming to have inside knowledge and just making stuff up. So pathetic.
