I think this is going to be a big game for Gesicki. Eventually, teams are going to try to stop the Middle of Zone passing lanes to Waddle. Would not be surprised if Mike is the one getting the numbers this week with Waddle and Tyreek on short outer routes and deep sideline routes. If that happens and the line holds up it could be a career day for the TEs.

Don’t like Gesickis body language and lack of emotion when he effs up and drops passes that hit his face and hands.

Starting to think we should move him for an Oline guy.

With the OL injuries and blocking my be an issue, I'd be surprised if he is a major factor unless his blocking has vastly improved.

It's time to just admit who Mike G is. He has physical talents off the chart, but lacks the feel for the game. He will always have a few great catches every year....but in MHO it will never be Mike Gesicki time. He is to inconsistent to go to for extended periods of time. Hopefully he can make a timely catch or something.

Dude, WTF are you blabbering about. If we don’t have our starting tackles it’s going to be a Smythe day with him helping in the blocking schemes, you won’t see MG. This is about protection at this point. If we are running on all cylinders then I could see it. This is gonna be a different offense this week against SFs ferocious pass rushers without Terron and AJ.

It looks as though Gesicki is now the 5th option behind Sherfield AND Craecraft..reason being inability to separate quickly in route

I wish they would use the goal post play more often..Tua has the accuracy to get that ball only where Gesicki can get it

NO you put Tua on the move....clear the middle for Gesicki. That is what I am saying but if you think Mc Daniels is going to do the obvious you must not have watched the last eight games.

Not possible to move him.

Trade dead line has passed and he will be a free agent in a few months.

Wasn’t possible to trade him anyway, I am sure we’ve been trying since the day we acquired Tyreek Hill.

Nobody wanted his salary (myself included).

He’ll probably sign a one year deal in free agency or accept a modest two year deal. I think the Giants will be in okay for him as they have no receiving talent.

This....if I were a betting man, McD is going to scheme 2 ways to hide Armstead being out .

The first being quick slants , bubble screens, swing routes and **** that play to the strengths of having waddle and hill. Quick separation, ball out quickly.

Second, he will bring in extra blockers like smythe, ingold, RBs. Im looking for the RBs , Ingold , Waddle and Hill to have a big day.

Dolphins need to make Tua irrelevant as far as passing, they need to hand it off and run at Bosa, get first downs by running an that will negate the all out pass rush, the 49ers cannot afford to rush no more than 4 because The twins will have a field day on the short routes, don't expect wow plays this week, 3 yards a could of dust is what needed win or lose.

More respect is due.

Criticizing spelling errors over context is simply arguing semantics.

I believe Mike is a good TE but his production has gone down with the addition of Hill. He is not worth a huge contract but a team friendly deal would be nice.

I do think we need a TE that can block well though, not sure if Smythe is that guy either though. Someone tell me why I am wrong on him if you can.
