Interesting if Hickey was strongly behind Tampa Bay drafting Glennon. He may really like the kid.

Last year was his first year as an nfl starter. I thought we weren't supposed to judge qbs in their 1st year. That's the logic everyone uses with Tanney. Oh well I guess only our qbs get a judgement free 1st year.

Its about potential what round did glennon get drafted in? Any idea why he went then? Did you watch him last year? He doesn't have potential

Beating us with 5 yard passes when our guys failed to tackle the guys who caught the ball before the first down will be the highlight of his career.

You guys are acting like Glennon played poorly, the dude did great with what he had to work with. I wouldn't mind bringing him in to give Tannehill some competition!

Yep, when they get rid of guys like Vincent Jackson, Glennon will finally start showing that his inability to throw past ten yards was the fault of guys like Vincent Jackson.

He went in round 3 of a very weak draft. 1 QB in the first round was drafted. Compared to 4 when Wilson dropped to the 3rd the year before. Lovie Smith already has seen enough he was just hired

He's absolutely worth a 4th, probably even a 3rd. Not for us, though. Someone in a different QB situation should offer it. Giants, Pats, Cowboys, Cards, Bengals, Chiefs, someone like that.

Kid was a 3rd round pick asked to start his rookie year by his bum HC and staff, lost one of his starting wideouts, didn't have a slot guy, weak TE. Threw 19TDs to 9ints with that cast of second-stringers and a goofball for a HC. Even though he was drafted much later he had better rookie numbers than Tannehill while playing only 13 games.

I like him over Savage or Murray, these 3rd round guys coming up.

If we ran a system that he fit well in, I'd take him for a fourth. He looked much better than Geno last year. I think he'd be a great fit for the Cardinals as the backup/eventual Palmer replacement,

Look I have to comment on these "3rd or fourth round pick" posts...... just no

Glennon is not a bum but he sure aint going to the playoffs.

Heres the deal if Ryan Tannhill goes down it is time to start thinking about the draft... maybe Matt Moore could carry for a game or 2 if it was the end of the season but none of these guys are making a playoff push... so no no no on giving a high pick for a QB like Glennon.... a 6th round pick? ehhh maybe

Someone like Brady Quinn can hold a clipboard on a minimum deal without giving up a pick just as well as someone like Glennon could.... either way if Tannehill went down its draft time
