I know everyone hates these trade threads but hear me out. The Cowboys are shopping him after the Claiborne selection and the Carr signing. IMO Sean Smith is the weak link of our secondary, he graded out as one of the worst corners in football last year and honestly would rather have Marshall start over him (which ultimately is what I expect to happen). Smith is too long an athlete to play receivers in the slot and I feel like at best he's a specialty guy that you bring in with 4-corner sets to man up on the TE.
Back to Jenkins, he's been a decent starter in Dallas the last couple years, played at South Florida and is entering the final year of his contract. He's a guy we could plug in and start opposite Vontae that would give us a formidable duo in the East. I'm not sure what his value is but I'd ship a 5th for him if possible. What do you think his value is and would you support a move for him?
