had a great insight to our team and hear is what they said.

Mariuchi said the dolphins could be a good team if they would throw the ball better and stop over relying on the run game. ( I agree 1000 % )

Mike Martz was saying something to the effect of Miami coaches dont know what their identy on offense is and Miami needs to get better at throwing the ball or else defenses will stop the short passing game and the running game will struggle . ( I completely agree 2000 %)
i dont know why so many people want to run, run, and run the ball. wasnt this why people around here were down on Wanny.

news flash people Sparano is not a good coach and some of the fans have been duped into beleiving that the trifecta can do no wrong.

I would take Mike Martz or Mariuchi over Sparano any day and would wage you the moon that we would be better maybe not this year but probally next year.
 
Mooch is a gravy trainer & an idiot. I'm surprised Martz did not say pass more but he was right about the identitiy thing.

I'll stick w/ Sparano over those 2 clowns.
 
NEWS FLASH: the Dolphins need a better passing game. Wow great assessment.
 
We aren't 0-3 because of the offensive game plan. We are 0-3 because the defense keeps giving up big plays and we haven't protected the football.

The difference between this run offense and the Johnson/Wannstedt era is that we're running at nearly 5 yds/carry. Back then it was 3 maybe 4 yds per. You run the football to control the game clock.

You may be right, Sprano is responsible, I hold out that our terrible drafts the past few years have decimated this team.

The defense can only hold their end of the bargain for so long: week 1 @ATL the d played great but no help from the offense; week 3 @ SD score was 3-3 at half time offense rewards the defense after the defense gave them the ball at SD's 17 yd line with a freaking field goal!!! MIA's biggest lead this entire season is 3pts. MIA's defense is not elite to protect 3 pts leads. If MIA's offense actually gave the D a manageable lead MIA could be 2-1 right now.

First...running the football gets you 45 mins of offense....a weak defense gets you a loss.

It would be nice to throw more...but to whom? Did Martz or Mooch happen to say to whom the Dolphins should throw more too? See neither of them had lousy receivers...like the Dolphins.

we've thrown the ball plenty last year, hell, pennington had a career year...

speaking of pennington, aren't you wondering WHY we didn't throw deep ? captain checkdown was a big part of the problem. I'm not blaming chad, he was doing what he's good at, but even sparano mentionned it in his press conference that they sent receivers deep against the chargers, but checkdowns were made. I know this is only one game but do you really think it was a one-game deal ? **** off we all know chad is scared to throw deep, and how can you blame him... now if only henne can learn everything from pennington, but keep his ballsack along the process, we might see some air in the next couple of games...

Maybe Penny didn't really like to waste his time throwing deep to a nothing receiver? Didn't Penny throw out of the endzone to Ginn and he over thrown Ginn?

How did all of those Great years with the throw, throw, throw the ball with Marino work out for ya?

I hated those years all the attention on one guy, it was never a team it was all one guy. That never works out. Running the ball takes a team effort, Teams win championships. Name one pure pass the ball only team? You cant do it.

Heck one man shows never win championships on any level in any sport.

I disagree, Miami is #3 in the NFL in rushing offense at 161 yards per game with a 4.7 ypc. The run game is fine they are built to be a power running team that chews up the clock. The problem with the passing game is it's needs to be more efficient. They don't need to pass more, they just need to be more productive when they do pass.

However, the main problem has been turnovers, penalties and big plays against the defense.

Notice how much better the 49ers are WITHOUT Martz this year?

My neighbor is a 49ers fan, so I've seen all their games the past few years. Martz held that team back. When Singletary took over, he canned Martz's quarterback and demanded that they run the ball more. At the end of the year, Martz was out.
