Mike Martz talking **** about Joey Harrington

Martz is an idiot, and Joey is our 2nd string QB, so who cares?
 
I'm on Joeys side. If Martz knew what he was talking about he would still be HC or at least got an offer instead of being the o-cord for the laughing stock of the league.

I think it went far beyond learning a new system, he has to do that in Miami and he's excited about it. Sometime you just have to move forward.
 
martz is contradicting himself, he first said that joey was going to be their man and that he felt he was going to do well under his offense but now he comes out with these comments, doent make much sense....i guess you can now really see why joey wanted to get out of detriot, all they know is how to talk smack and disrespect, i hope once we are killing the lions on turkey day that saban lets joey go in for a few snaps and get back at the lions
 
It seems that Joey asking to be released had more to do with them signing two possible starting Qbs while he was on vacation after giving him a vote of confidence....He felt the team didnt have his back...AGAIN.
 
Martz is a egomaniac.

He's a one trick poney who will never again be a HC.

Joey knew he'd be #2 here with no pressure and, an
organization that wanted him.

At worst, Joey can take a breath, maybe get some good
exposure on a real football team with a great staff,
and move on to another team that wants him after he
regains his confidence.

I think he's a good kid, and, I'm rooting for him to do well, wether
it be here or elsewhere.
 
martz is a jackass. if joey was scurrd about the new regime, that it was going to be too tough, why'd he yearn to sign with the dolphins? saban is an up your face type of diciplinarian. just ask manny, he'll tell ya. martz's ego is cut a little because joey didn't want anything to do with him. and that's why he's bashing on joey. waddevah...
 
Joey did complain that the Lions always trying to fit a square peg into a round hole meaning that they were not giving him plays that best suit his talent.Martz was not going to change that so Joey did what he wanted to do for a long time and that was to move on.
 
Even if that means beating down and then building up a group of players Martz feels is not ready to compete after slacking for so long. "The conditioning part if it makes this very uncomfortable," he said.

"It is hard to evaluate anyone when they are out of shape. They don't do anything well."

This I found out interesting... Seems to be the team that Joey had for 4 years, and was blamed for their lack of success!
