Mike Mayock's take on Everette Brown

He has Brown rated as a 2nd round guy... HUH? how is that possible.. sure hes a bit shorter than you'd like but last I checked this isn't basketball.. the guy reminds me of a Dwight Freeney/Joey Porter mix.. hes got speed rush, bull rush, and spin moves.. Id take him at 25!

I think he might be a liability against the run. He is going to be playing(if he comes to the Phins) SOLB and his primary job is to set the edge. But there is no doubt that he is an excellent pass rusher.

i think Mike Mayock is a great talent evaluatar, i think he might even be better then kiper in my opinion. i wish he was our gm i think he would be great for us.He really knows his stuff any one elese agree.

All he is, is a speed rusher.....and unproven to be able to play as a OLB.

I'm happy with Miami's front office just the way it is. I like Mayock a lot, but he is not a GM.

Looks like Mayock was right on with Brown...I read from scouts that they aren't sure he can hold up consistently against the run so it depends on what your scheme ask of him.


If your going to pin his ears back and rush the passer all game then fine, he'll be great, but if you want him to cover and hold his ground against the run more then he's not as good of a prospect as someone like Larry English.
