Small sample size.
MM has won over 100 games and a winning record in the playoffs.
Prior to that he ran high scoring offenses.
Gase is a wet vehind the ears kid.
MMs resume is good enough for me and he would be an upgrade over Gase.

Mike McCarthy kept Dom Capers too long, for years too long. There are some question marks about him being able to assemble a staff, but certainly he has more experience and is better than Gase.
But the sticking with Dom Capers is a really bad mark on him.

Mike McCarthy has been propped up by Rodgers for years... they wasted Rodgers’ hall of fame career with this coach. I think he’d be Tony Sparano without Rodgers basically. I wouldn’t get near him if I were the Dolphins.
