Mike McCoy

McCoy will "hit the interview out of the park"...very smart guy and articulate.

If this guy gets a head coaching job, he'll be riding the Tim Tebow hype train. When Kyle Orton was starting the team was averaging 21 ppg and about 300 ypg and Orton throwing 8 TDs and 7 INTs. In his last job, as the quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator of the Panthers, he coordinated Delhomme to 15 TDs and 12 INTs and less than 3300 yards passing.

This guy is a dinosaur, scheme wise. He runs the ball like it's still 1950. No thanks.

I am not sold on Mike McCoy, but one thing I've noticed this season is that the Broncos definitely make good second half adjustments on offense.

He also helped Orton throw for back to back seasons of at least 3,600 yards and 20 TDs. He's done some very good work.

His play calling is really fit to match the best skill sets of his team.

Young, innovative, flexible, and smart.

Should be an interesting interview.

The work he has done to find offense and ways to win with Tebow is nothing short of amazing IMO.

I have heard that McCoy is incredibly articulate which is going to vital to explain to the team and public the vision of the team...especially with the crisis in confidence many have...

God Forbid that there are a minimum of 2 articulate U of Utah Grads in Dolphin Nation.

3600 yards and 20 TDs is **** in this day and age.

Utter ****.

I honestly don't get this "flexible" talk with regards to McCoy. Okay, so they run a few single wing plays that have been in playbooks since before Sammy Baugh had pubic hair. But Dan Henning also ran the Wildcat. This did not make either man good at their job or even flexible as far as it goes. Both guys are obsessed with controlling the game by running the football.

Don't give me guys who are "flexible" or are willing to "innovate" in the running game. Give me guys who are going to do that in the passing game.
