Everything about this hire feels right to me. Seeing a story like that, you see that his whole life has revolved around the game of football, and it all started because a kind man bought him a hat after he lost it.
It's really hard not to like him, his story. His body of work speaks for itself even as a first time head coach. Nothing is ever for certain but I feel like this was the absolute right move

I love this hire more and more every day. The more I'm exposed to the kind of guy he is and how humble and brilliant he is the happier I feel about McD being our Head Coach. I believe he is the exact correct guy to lead this team. He is an even keel type of guy, he's not afraid to smile and I can't wait for Tua to quickly improve in a real offense. I'm sick of the Dolphins being outsmarted and out coached at every turn. It's high time that our scheme confounds the opposition. It's high time for someone with brains and laser focus to put our offense back in the upper third of the NFL. We ranked 32 last season, the fact that we won 8 out of 9 is amazing but we can't start slow again, it kills the whole season. We have a ton of work to do but right now I feel like the right guy is in charge.
