Why didnt we go after this guy? I liked his play on the Lions and he most likely would have started over Harrington if it not been for Harringtons high draft status.

He had a rocket arm and could scramble. If we had to give someone some playing time to develope, why not a guy who actually has some potential? I always liked this guy from Rutgers.
 
Why don't fans look to the future rather than always bringing up things that could of been done in the past? it is one of the mysteries of life.
 
I always liked him too. . . . .

Even at the time we were looking to replace Fiedler I wanted us to go after McMahon. That said, where is he now??
 
we needed to sign frerrote to have a qb that knew the offense since it was the first year in that system with the other players, if we had mcmahon and feeley with a first year playbook for both of them our qb problems could be even worse.
 
Hey man good comment me and my buddy don have been saying that all along. Well my buddy don is an eagles fan so he got him but hell just be a back up there. I watched him at Rutgers being a big east fan and he was from pennsyvlania where im from so ive seen this guy since high school and hes a hell of an athlete just wasnt given the chance do to the fact that they invested so much in Joey Harrington out of Oregon who better do something this year with all the weapons he has or his time is about up in Detroit. Great thread
 
I always liked him, and would have had no problem with him coming, but, we need a QB with a future.

And look, the Pat's found another in that kid Matt Cassel, did anyone see that kid play for the Pat's?? That kid was something, and was a backup for 4 years in college.

And Feeley is hitting TICS of a Dears A$$? Mcmahon was a FA too and I bet if we didnt make this trade for Feeley, Saban would have checked it out. He is a GREAT athelete and might just need a CHANCE.

I will say to you what my son's PreK teacher says to him when passing out stickers, etc.....
"you get what you get and you don't get upset!".

It is what it is now dude. We have to deal with what we have now and look to the FUTURE!

i said about him earlier before the eagles got him and people blew up on me about it. I would love to see the kid come here. I would like ot see us go after Rivers as dumb as that sounds it is actualy realistic for mabe next season.
