They gave some pretty solid props to Miami this morning if anyone wasn't listening. Not sure who the guest is today, but they were discussing whether or not a team can win a championship running the wildcat. Essentially they said no, unless they run the wildcat like Miami does. They said if Miami can continue to run it like they did against the Jets they will make noise in the playoffs.

Its great how EVERYONE (but the Jets) are beginning to respect Miami's wildcat.

I fully expect the JEts to overload the line when we line up at Wildcat, heres hoping we can burn em with the pass or the ricky run to the corner. Maybe even finally see the real Pat White Package is that they have tested a few times.
 
Yeah, my father told me about them giving us some respect...Good to hear, especially from them, because I think that is officially the first good thing they have ever said about us.
 
Hopefully now people will stop calling us a gimmick offense.
 
Mark Schlerth was the guest along with Mike and Mike. The word they used was spectacular to describe Miami execution. Wow....after a long time it is good to be a Phin fan.

I hope our defence catches on fire and then we are on track to be one of the elite teams.
 
The Wildcat is a gimmick, I'm not so sure why you guys get so offended by that. If it is successful who the hell cares?

Because people call it a gimmick as if the Dolphins are cheating or should be ashamed of having that as part of their offensive scheme.

I wouldn't care if someone called it a gimmick and then praised it. But everytime someone calls it a gimmick its followed up by completely trashing it.
 
Heyyyy jet fan don't u have ur own message board where u can bash the jets wit all ur ****in other fair weather fans. U got exposed. Hands down we outplayed u. But I got sum questions.

1. If it's such a gimmick offense why did the jets try to run it on 3rd down in the red zone to lose 6 yds?

2. Is it more of a gimmick then fake punts in NFL football? Talk about nonsense.

3. If revis is Christ then teddy must be god cause he ****in sonned him on the deep ball.


Ps. U lost to us. We lost to good teams. U lost to the two good teams u played. *****
 
I love the Wildcat, if they want to call it a gimmick that is fine with me. They still have to stop the "gimmick" offense when we run it. And I would run anything now that is giving us 7 + yards everytime it is run. Defenders hate it because it makes them think instead of react. Love it.
 
perhaps the play-action pass was also called a gimmick when it was first run, right? At least by the team that lost to it.
 
The bottom line is teams are not going to stop us running the ball period..


Barring an Injury to one of the line members I think we will stay the #1 rushing team..

No matter what formation we are in...

Thats why the wildcat is not a gimmick....

Its simple line up and run..It makes every down into a goaline type play..

Man vs Man...

Why do you think the Ravens stopped it last year??

They played good, sound strong football..We could not run on them either in the wildcat or base formations...

Also we had a ton of injuries but no big deal..

Jets are making excuses beacuse they dont want to admit we ran all over them..

We could win the superbowl 45 to 0.. and ppl would still call it a gimmick...
