It will be a dogfight between us Dallas and Denver for T.O.

..I didnt think were were "really" in the sweepstakes....guess we are.

i think they are just speculating more than anything. i dont really see us getting into the TO sweepstakes.

If you can get TO with a one year contract, that is heavily incentive based, then I'd take him with no questions. If you make the incentives easy to achieve (for TO), I think he'll shut up and play like he did year one in Philly

T.O. coming to Miami along side Chambers, Booker, McMike, Ronnie, Ricky and Culpepper is a guaranteed Super Bowl bid @ home next season.

TO knows he is going to get an incentive-laden contract. What else can he expect. What he will need to decide is what team that is interested has a QB that can get him the darn ball.

Dal with Bledsoe
Den with Plummer
KC with Green
Mia with Culpepper

If you are TO, which of those 4 is most appealing to you?

easy man..........it's those type of elite expectations that will lead to a lot of disappointment around here. It's a great move....but still, other pieces need to be put in place.

its NOT a great move

SAY NO to TO ...please.......UGHHHHH

I agree Finsurrection....If he (Owens) is looking to go where he'll be most successful, then Miami with Culpepper is a no-brainer. I also believe that Terrell now realizes that this is his last shot at winning and making $$$. Saban would be smart enough to write behavioral incentives into the contract. Out of the QB's you listed, Culpepper is the arm that can get it to him.

i dont know about that, Plummer does have a good arm. Green is a bit old but is pretty good, Bledsoe is decent, Culpepper is good but again...yes we heard it a lot already...he threw for 6 TDs and 12 INTs before he got hurt...

Mort was on the Mike/Mike show and said three teams were interested in TO. Miami, Denver and Dallas. After TO visited Denver the staff has since cooled off about getting TO. Dallas looked like the landing place for TO. He thought this could last a couple of weeks, because TO wants the money.
If he doesn't get what he wants he would walk away from football.

TO bought a house in South Florida, he has been privately telling friends that "If" Miami gets a top QB that his desire is to play in Miami............guess what? Miami has a top QB.

If he gives us a "close to home" discount lets do it...He thinks very highly of culpepper, remember when he and Moss were jabing back and forth about who's the best? He made a comment about Moss having an elite QB throwing him the ball. I dont know what will happen but one things seems obvious..Saban and Co. are trying to find a #2!! Booker had a good last 4 games but prior to that he was only playing OK.
