There are many reasons why we are losing right now guys but one of the major ones is most def Mularkey's play calls. The 2-point conversion play was just a microcasm of the atrocious way in which Mike has been calling games. It wasn't the only reason we lost and it shouldn't have even come down to that but it was rediculous. To take the ball out of Culpeppers hands when he was playing well the past two drives and give it to Ronnie Brown to pass is IN-FRIGGIN-EXCUSABLE!!!!!!!!!! It was by far one of the most stupid play calls I have seen in a while. The half back pass is not designed to be run down on the goaline where if you are passing it requires a tight and accurate throw. Its designed to fake out the defense and find a wide open reciever DOWN the field in OPEN space. There is simply not enough room to effectively run that play down on the goaline. I would much rather take my chances with Culpepper. And by the way running with Ronnie may not have been a bad play call there, but passing with him well ive made my point................

Agreed. I give it 65% O-line blame, 35% play calling blame. I feel bad for the defense. They don't have much time left and our chances are slipping away. We better get it together soon or else we will eventually have a great offense and the defense will be average.

I agree with the Mularkey play calling, but Booker was WIDE open. Why Chambers was there I don't know.

hey OrlandoFinsFan what makes you say we will have a great offense. right now, i dont really get that picture.

Eventually they will put all the pieces together and play as a team. They have alot of talent on offense, but the sum of it's parts is much more than the whole. They are just all on a different page right now. I am looking at next year to be when they start to click. Miami has so much more talent than the Patsies....but the Patsies are playing TOGETHER AS A TEAM. We aren't.

i hate malarkey. hopfully he gets struk by a bus. and he need to stop this trick **** b/c it doesnt work in real football

I don't blame Mularkey for the 2-point conversion try at all. Wouldn't have been my 1st choice... I would have put Culpepper in the shotgun, and had him run a draw up the middle with the option to throw if he saw anybody open.

But that being said, Mularkey's trick play wasn't a bad call. It simply wasn't executed well.

First off, Carey completely missed his block. All he had to do was block one guy. Nothing fancy. He blew his assignment, and his guy came free putting pressure on Ronnie Brown. Carey's guy was the only defensive player in the backfield.

Second, Booker was wide open.

Wide.

Open.

If Brown wasn't pressured by Carey's guy, he would have had plenty of time to set and throw well before Booker slipped and fell.

Third, Booker slipped and fell. How was that Mularkey's fault?!

I think you need anger management, but I agree with you wholeheartedly

hey..bright side...we're on pace for 16 whole touchdowns this season! 1 per! (oh and 80 sacks)
We're also on pace to miss the playoffs for the fifth year in a row. New franchise record! Woot!
