mike pouncey...panthers game tale of the tape

i've still got to do lydon murtha but i think i'm gonna take a look at daniel thomas next since there's so much talk about him underachieving thus far...i know from my first and second looks of that half as a whole i thought daniel showed some nice things...but i guess we'll what the tape tells me
 
Good deal. Im interested in what the tape shows for DT. To me, he has played like a rook. A bit inconsistent, a bit ancy and impatient. However, his feet to me are very good, with the potential to be elite if he continues to improve. His vision seems decent, but Id like to know what you see from the tape on that as well

BTW, The offensive highlights that someone put up in a thread, check out pouncey on Thomas's TD run. He absolutely mualed his guys with pure power and technique. When pouncey will be best is when we wear teams down in the heat and we have them on the ropes. Pouncey is a stud. Book it.

I also know we did not draft pouncey to be a G. Our biggest prob last year was Center. Every good team needs a good center. So, I dont really care what media says or anyone on here. They dont run the team and they dont really know football cus they prob never played the game.

So basically you're saying your opinion is right, you don't care what the "statistics" (the only measurable units of performance) say, because your opinion is better. Also, you're pulling a legitimate "If you didn't play the game you don't know what you're talking about"

That's awesome. There are tons of players who weren't very good players but are amazing coaches, Belichick included.
 
the tape to me looks very good on d thomas...i'm putting it together now...will make it its own thread...cause this kid did a lot of nice things...and people who say he left yards on the table or can't pass protect i take issue with that...the tape tells me different
