He's got a ways to go but I think Miami may have something in brendel on the pivot. Good move athlete

Yea I wouldn't play him in the 4th game. Too many guys out there who will be unemployed in a few days and maybe looking to make a statement.

Get him some burn on Thursday and saran wrap him until the Tampa game.

I would ABSOLUTELY play him this week. No more bubble wrap. We have a new QB and he needs to get acclimated with his intended starting center.

I would be more inclined to not play him if #17 was playing.

Even if he plays two drives, it's a huge step and this OL as a whole needs to start taking shape.

Keep your fingers crossed on this one. I hope he's not a ticking time bomb.

I agree. If he's physically able I would play him this week. No need to play anybody next week so I view this as the last chance.

Well he's resting today so maybe he goes Thursday. This situation is finally worrying me.

Mike Pouncey's condition is degenerative. He is on borrowed time. There is an out after this season in his contract, and it's a near certainty the Dolphins will get out from under it.

Him having a degenerative hip issue was never confirmed. Bleacher Report claims they have a source that says it is degenerative . . . . find it funny the wolves we have on the beat here have never stated such a thing.

That doesn't mean it isn't degenerative but that type of statement needs more substance than a Bleacher Report source.

I think it is pretty impossible to know what Miami is going to do with Pouncey without the 2017 season results in front of us. Obviously if he is banged all year and plays a handful a games you are probably right they would likely attempt to get from under that contract after the year. If he comes in and plays well and stays healthy, then they will keep him.

I know Gase absolutely loves the guy and will do everything possible to give him the best opportunity to be apart of this team . . .this year and beyond.

Yep, completely agree! These sites like BR throw out medical terms like they are doctors and really don't care if accurate or not. MP's hip may be something that keeps happening because he always came back too fast in the past. I like that Gase shut him down last year and is taking a slow but steady approach to get him back because this offense and especially the running game gets a boost with him in there because he can hit his initial block and get to the second level!

Zoidberg Girl approves! :thumbsup

Steen and Ubrick are all too important to this also. Hopefully Pouncey can play well while he's out there.
