Mike Shanahan?

After the season I think we should look into Shanahan(?) coming in as a new OC. Any thoughts?

Shanahan will have his pick of whatever pro or collegiate job he wants. So, it won't happen.

First of all he is scheduled to make like $7 mil next year from the Broncos. If he takes another coaching job somewhere, the league will not make the Broncos give him that money. For that reason, its entirely possible he dosent coach again until his contract is up with the Broncos. He would basically be working for less money than he could make by not working. But, its possible the guy would want to work and decide to do it anyway.

On top of that Shanahan will be no one's OC. He is a head coach. Teams will be lining up for his services when he decides he wants to coach again. Personally, I would love to have him as our head coach.

I'm fine with our coaching staff too. They've come a long way. Shanny is gonna want to be a head coach anyways. Nice thought though!

Shanahan will never take a coordinator job. He will land a head coaching job somewhere in 2010 whether it be the NFL or College.

Shanahan, who has had absolute power for so long, will never settle for a job where he doesn't have control of the team. Henning is likely to retire, so we will need a new offensive coordinator. My hope is that they just promote David Lee, otherwise we could run the risk of losing him to another team.

This guy has admitted to not knowing how to use a computer, and claims he has never used email before. He probably watches film on a reel to reel tape. He fails at defense. Plus he is in love with himself. This dude will be lucky to get a HC job in the NFL, even despite his moderate success.
