Miami Dolphins coach Joe Philbin has moved quickly to ensure his top lieutenants will be longtime, accomplished coaches and also close allies.Former NFL head coach Mike Sherman and Cincinnati defensive backs coach Kevin Coyle – who possess a combined 69 years of experience – are poised to be named the Dolphins’ offensive and defensive coordinators, respectively, barring any unexpected last-minute issues, multiple sources said.

I read Barry's article and I am not convinced he has the information that says Sherman's is locked in.

I'm in full support until further notice. Come on Miami!!!!! If anything else it will bring respect back on the building and hopefully build a tradition with any future coaches and players that come in future.

Breaking news we've seen all week.

With the way "journalists" break news nowadays, I'll wait until their officially singed to work up an opinion.

I think Sherman coming here is great. We have 2 guys who know 2 of the top QB options for us at just the right time. They HAVE TO know if these guys can make it. This can only help us and gives us a huge advantage on whether or not to throw everything we can for RG3 or possibly get Flynn, or Tannehill at 9 if Philbin or Sherman think they have what it takes. Even if Sherman leaves next year, he is a hell of an offensive coach and he can help Philbin a lot this year. Getting coaches with a lot of experience can only help Philbin ease into being boss.

Sirius Radio saying Sherman & Coyle have accepted their OC/DC jobs.
