Do you guys remember in 2003 when the Packers were healthy and they used Ahman Green every way possible. Thats what we need down here!! I would love to see that Green Bay trademark screen pass with Ricky and Ronnie!!! I think Sherman is a good OC and i believe he will be perfect for our offense!! I believe that year they were a top 5 offense (and yes i know they had brett favre). Give Mike Sherman a chance!!! I remember they averaged about 30:00 of time of possesion a game, thats pretty sick!!!

I wouldn't be opposed to having Mike Sherman here as the OC.
 
Al Saunders was just named OC of the Redskins.

Last I heard Sherman was applying for the Bills job. Chances are 'if' he were to sign as an OC he'd go to a team with a west coast philosphy since isn't he part of that whole west coast offense coaching chain?

i'd be happy with sherman. Although i must admit I'm not that ooposed to any of these guys coming here and being our new coordinater. I know the system wo't be exactly the same, but if a new guy comes in he's already going to know that hes got to work with our system, not put a entirely new one in.

I think martz would be better for that, simply because i've seen him run many different offenses. I've seen him ride faulk all day, or go completely pass happy. He's always worked with what hes had, but he needs restriction. We all know that saban is good at restricting too.

The only problem with him is that it would be a complete turnover of the playbook again. But I don't know how well the other offensive coaches we have are versed in the WCO...Sherman would also be a one-year wonder in all likelyhood. Of course, us not having a QB would be an issue with any OC who Saban goes after...
 
Actually, in my view, Mike Sherman is technically a poor coach. I also agreed with the Pack(considering most so-called ESPN experts wanted him kept on with the Pack) with his being dumped. Also I do not believe that it would be good to have us morph into a west-coast offense type of team.
