Wow!!! I'm not sure what to think. His track record doesn't speak of success, but I'm sure the Don would become involved in a big way if this happened. I'm feeling mega ambivalent about this one!! Y'know mike was QB coach under Chan Gailey. Maybe he becomes OC if Gailey gets the job, with the plan of succeeding him when Gailey moves on.
 
Very interesting, I like it from several angles, least of which is I'm not sure how good a coach he is, but he sure has great lineage and would probably be the most loyal HC to the Fins we could get.

I would LOVE it if he turned into the next Don Shula, won LOTS of SB's and made Bama rue the day they let him go for Saban. Wouldn't it be great if someday all the Bama fans could say to Saban was why can't you be like Mike Shula?

It's too bad Brian Schottenheimer dropped out. Then we could have had a "My Three Sons" shootout between Mike Shula, Jim Mora, Jr, and B.Schottenheimer.

It's funny how people believe that Mike Shula as the HC would translate into the same success as the Don had.
I also remember in D. Shula's last season there was a huge contingency that believed that his best coaching days had past him by...
 
You know I would love to see Mike Shula come here and do what Saban couldn't. Take this team to the Super Bowl...justice would be served!

I don't think it would happen though :lol:
 
Hmm, this could be a way to have Don Shula back in a similar capacity to when Hilary Clinton was our president.
