...his closing line of the MNF broadcast after the Titans beat the Texans to go to 4-6

"they still play St. Louis, Miami and at Seattle, maybe they do have a chance"

WTF?!?!

lumping us in with 1-9 St. Louis and 3-7 Seattle?? We are some automatic win for the Titans??

I'm usually one of the last to get all wound up about what different media outlets think about us, and I'm not gonna chalk this up to any ESPN bias....just Mike Tirico being a complete ignorant douche bag.

remember espn gives no respect to the fins

i dont like the monday night announcers, they suck.

Meh, he's just saying. It will be a tough game for us as well.
This game turned from a laugher when the Titans were 0-6 and embarrassed by the Pats to an extremely close match up, much like the Carolina game. Hope the result is the same.

if he was just saying their schedule....he would have mentioned the games against the Colts and the Chargers which are in the middle of the games he mentioned....he was unmistakably calling out those games as very winnable ones.

I'm not trying to say that the Titans can't beat us....but to completely dismiss us like he did....f him.

He also mentioned they play Arizona in that same line but you left that out so he was just naming off their remaining schedule and ran out of time to name the other games before they went to Sports Center. I just rewound my DVR and re-watched it.

i really dont care what the announcers say or think because their opinion is just as good as anybody elses. Everybody watches the same games just because theyre a former player doesnt mean they have any advantage to picking the winner of a game. They might know the little techniques and stuff but any fan can do their football pool each week and pick the winners of the games and do better than Steve Mariucci, Deion Sanders and Marshall Faulk. So really what the hell does Mike Tirico know?

Once the Phins start dominating teams like Tampa and Carolina they will give us more respect. But I think it is awesome when you are under the radar and quitely beat everyone.

Need to beat Buffalo nicely at least by two touchdowns. Then hope for Saints to beat Patriots.

stop being so dramatic, hosting the dolphins in nashville is a very winable game for the titans, it could easily go either way.

You don't agree with me ? You think the titans are no match for the fins ?

So, does that mean you don't have respect for the titans ?

;) well there you go

EDIT: check lower for other comment...

I hope so too. The Titans are much healthier (the secondary specifically) and have a great RB in Chris Johnson. Will be a tough match up, but most our remaining games are now.

lol, steve young just said on post game "if you include miami? the dolphins in wildcard talks, then you have to include everyone in the AFC"

team doesn't get respect, and i'm never the one to talk about 'disrespect'. i think it's a tired argument but right now i'd agree, the phins aren't taken seriously. why should they? they have yet to beat any elite teams and struggle against teams like tampa.

well there really is no easy games but i get what the original poster was getting at about why did they lump us in with the rams and seahawks but someone else said they were readin off the whole remaining schedule for them

I'm more offended by what Steve Young (notorious Dolphin hater) just said. When asked who will make the playoffs he kind of sneered and said if Miami is being talked about as a wildcard team then anyone can get in. FU and your 12 concussions! Guy always sounds like he's half drunk.

i thought the order of the next 3 games for tennessee was st louis, miami and seattle...

but i watched on nfl.com and it's not that at all, they play the cards next week, the colts afterwards, then there's st-louis, miami, san diego, and they finish with seattle...

after realizing this, i must admit that they handpicked the dolphins as what "should" be an easy game for the titans :ponder:... gotta admit, this is BS
