Mike Wallace doesn't look like much

Mike Worthless. He just watched that ball get picked off at the end. A top receiver fights for that ball, even if they dont catch it..

Yeah he would be. But is that one route worth 60M?

No, but it wouldn't be nearly as terrible a signing as it looks now. I mean, Wallace is a healthier version of DeSean Jackson and that guy is on pace for something like 85/1400/11 this season. The difference is that Philly has decent QB play, and more importantly an offensive line that is giving their QBs a lot of time.

Wallace is a horrible football player in general. He shows a huge lack of effort. He leans away from passes thrown to him. He falls right down with anything he does catch, and his hands are like butterfingers. Yeah Tannehill has underthrown him in deep routs, but Wallace has been pathetic all year in all phases of being a WR.

Glad we got rid of Marshall.

Ireland and Philbin are so DUMB!!!!!!! Why would you want a top 5 WR in the game? 2 - 3rd round picks are way better. Especially when Ireland is calling the shots. HOW DID THAT TURN OUT FOR YOU DIPSTICKS!

He got his millions and is pretty much content with being a mental midget on the field. Sad too...I thought he'd play much better but he's been a major disappointment.

Jackson also runs the entire route tree. his bread and butter route is a post.

Again though, is this a surprise? He got paid and is playing in a west coast system with a QB that can't get him the ball down the sideline. Of course he's frustrated and loafing. Wallace isn't known for his maturity.

So Tannehill missed Wallace downfield so thats a reason he played like garbage today? One pass? Yet Gibson and MATTHEWS has outplayed him week by week. Matthews was just thrown into the offense because Gibson tore his ACL and he still outplays Wallace. I bet he outplays Wallace next week too. Wouldn't be surprised at all.

He has run a lot of them lazy in his time. I do agree that he can run more routes better than Wallace does, but he has loafed a lot during his career, as has Wallace.

Yes he has. However I will say this if there are two organizations that would send a red flag to me if they would rather let their player walk than pay them Steelers are one.

he's the turd in the punch yo... straight up lazy stank. he needs a coach-in-his-face intervention, in front of the entire franchise not behind a door.

I also think Wallace has severely underperformed and his contract is now an albatross on this team moving forward. However, when it comes to Wallace game (his actual one trick pony game, not the wishful thinking of him developing a full #1WR game), a single pass is actually what he's here for. It seems like every week he has one play where he has the defender beat and Tannehill waits too long to throw the ball. By the time the ball is thrown, Tanny doesn't have the arm to get the ball far enough due to Wallace speed, so the DB gets to catch up and make a play. Tonight there was the one play that was a easy TD. But then the final play was the same thing again, Wallace had his guy beat and the safety was coming over the top - Tanny waited too long to throw the ball - if it's thrown a second earlier that db has no shot at the ball and the safety probably can't get over in time. So that's at least 7 points and possibly 14. The difference between a W and a L. Not to mention that completing one of those deep plays per game would alter the whole defense and open up the underneath stuff.

Wallace blows. He's a huge waste of money. The guy doesn't do jack. He drops too many passes, can't block DBs, can't fight for the ball, doesn't jump or come back to the ball to help the QB out. He's a fricken joke.

Mike Wallace looks like he was the one that needed to be bullied by Cogs.
