Mike Wallace doesn't look like much

watch you get rid of Wallace and he will be a star somewhere else because their QB creates more seconds and time for him to get open. Also having a O line helps. put wallace on the patriots saints bengals lions any of those teams and he is having a great year. Not using him properly and Tannehill is not looking his way most of the game aka hooked on matthews. PS he missed him for a TD several times this year but hey who's counting

MIKE WALLACE CANNOT CATCH WITH HIS HANDS (PERIOD)

He will not be a "star" anywhere else. He is what he is and unfortunately he's not anywhere near the worth of his contract. I dare any one to show me "highlights" of Mike Wallace extending his arms from his body with his palms facing outward toward the football and snatch it with his hands.

He's a basket catching ball hugging speedster and Wallace is not able to take advantage of the route tree. He can run 0's and 1's (slants, quick/screens) so he can trap the ball against his body his he crosses. He can obviously run 7,8,9's (corner, post, fly) so he can run under the ball and throw out the ol' basket catch. Even then, 7 & 8's are questionable on whether or not he can be aware of the sidelines and shield off defenders. And Wallace can't work anything in the middle of field with any of 3,4,5 & 6 routes (in's, out's and curls). He's a waste considering we paid him top money to be a #1 WR, which he is certainly not.

*With a couple Mike Wallace threads floating around, do they merge? or should I cut and paste my non-sense over and over?

Lets be real here: Mike Wallace is a one trick pony. We desperately needed someone to take the top off the defense. If you remember in Pitt a lot of his success were on plays where Ben scrambled and Wallace broke off his route and took off deep. There are other ways to use him- I would like to see a backside post off a play action boot to have more field to throw to. Tannehill has been disastrous throwing the deep ball. he has underthrown him every single time. He needs to throw it as far as he can and let Mike run under it. The drops from Wallace are killing us. The line cant block long enough to let his long routes develop, and Sherman doesn't know how to call an offense...
The PI he drew against Cincy helped win that game, and if Tanny could make a catchable throw he would have a handful of long touchdowns like he was brought in for.

Matthews thinks he throws a damn fine ball...

I am beyond disappointed with Wallace's performance.
He got his $60 million and has nothing to prove...he doesn't even try.
In the last year of his contract MAYBE he will pick it up.
Until then Miami is stuck with him...

Snakes have better hands than Mike Wallace.

To be fair with Wallace. Everyone (except Ireland and Phiblin) knew he was a one dimensional receiver who runs fast and makes big plays.

THe problem is the dolphins don't want to use him that way(or can't because of Tannehill), is that on Wallace??

I was referring to deep balls to Wallace...I believe he missed Matthews on one last night too...

Id trade him for a 1st round pick.

Nobody is that stupid. nobody wants his contract and nobody would give up a 1st round pick for him lol

he's the turd in the punch yo... straight up lazy stank. he needs a coach-in-his-face intervention, in front of the entire franchise not behind a door.

lol'd hard. Good stuff

I'm agreeing with most ppl here, Wallace is definitely a step backwards from Marshall. We should have drafted a WR in round 1 or 2, and used the money for Wallace on Branden Albert, also questionable as well, But a much, much bigger need.
Wallace just doesn't fit the mold of what this team needs, really at all. Clearly Philbin and Sherman cant find out how to use him right. I think he had one good game all year.

Oh Yea...Wallace makes up for his bad hands with some great blocking on run plays.
