Mike Wallace, WR, Miami Dolphins

After suffering through a disappointing debut season with the Dolphins, Wallace should bounce back in a major way in Year 2. New offensive coordinator Bill Lazor is implementing a warp-speed, no-huddle offense -- with reported similarities to the Philadelphia Eagles' attack -- that will create big-play opportunities for the speedster at every turn. Wallace could surpass the production of Pro Bowl receiver DeSean Jackson in Philly last year (82 receptions, 1,332 yards and nine touchdowns).
Wallace should be able to capably fill his role as the Dolphins' No. 1 receiver in a system specifically designed to get him touches on catch-and-run plays -- and through vertical routes that allow him to utilize his speed and explosiveness in space. In the salary-cap era, it's imperative for the speedster to deliver the kind of production that matches the blockbuster deal he signed last offseason.

Seems easy enough in theory. Especially, when you consider all the yards and TDs left on the field last season. I'm excited for Mike and Ryan this season should be fun.

Jackson is much tougher than Wallace. If Wallace had the same toughness as Jackson I think he could be better

What does that have to do with what? 400ish yards and another 4 TDs to match Jacksons output last season?

Wallace and Jackson are completely different. And those expecting something similar are in for a rude awakening.

Mike Wallace will be better this year, but it will be because of being around Tannehill for a year plus.

This kid made big plays in high school
Made big plays at ol miss
Made big plays in pitt
If it just stops here.. I really doubt its him.
Wallace can and will ball here... His route tree is not as bad as some say..
He is not much of a cutter and likes to round off to keep closer to his top speed.
A few deep crossing routes a lot of swords like he scored on vs new england.
Hopefully more screens with landry blocking in front :)

I am still baffled as to why we didn't do this with him last year, I mean it just seems like common sense to have him all over the field.

Ironic coming from someone w/ lebron in his avatar.

Lol yea Lebron is a ****ing pansy! You know, because he has never missed an extended period of time even with injuries and has carried a joke of a team in the Cavs to the Finals and multiple playoff appearances with injuries and has carried the Heat to another NBA finals all while playing almost a combined full season more than 90% of the rest of the NBA because of their consistent NBA finals runs. God, Lebron is such a nutless asshole.

Wallace should explode this year in this scheme. I am really hoping he can be as good as his Madden self haha. Get the man into space and let him loose.

You seem mad.

I can make Lewis Black seem rather tame but not when I made my observation.

It is what it is and what it is is... lbj is up there w/ the sta-puft marshmallow man & whatever it is that promotes Pillsbury rolls in terms of resiliency, testicular fortitude yada yada yada.

For crud sake, J Martin called him out.
