1. He runs horrible routes
2. He has hands of stone
3. He doesn't come back for or fight for the ball in covereage
4. Tannehill can't buy 8 seconds like Big Ben so he can streak down the field after everything breaks down.

What a waste of money. At least Sherman could mix in a few more screens. I noticed that they worked this week and against Indy but we don't use them. Go figure.

We hardly ever send him in motion, we rarely run screens for him and when we do they're very successful. We don't run many routes where we confuse the DB's to get him open. So in those regards we aren't getting the most out of him that we possibly could.

Other than that he has no ability to react to balls that aren't thrown perfectly, he doesn't fight defenders for the ball and it seems like if a guy is on him that he's unable to even move his arms.

Altogether it's been a huge mistake of a signing thus far IMO.

It's looking to me like a guy who was a third-round pick for a reason, despite his 4.33 40 time, was the beneficiary for the first four years of his career of a quarterback (Roethlisberger) with a unique ability to extend plays and launch bombs downfield to a guy who had broken coverage and was wide open.

Short of that, Mike Wallace doesn't appear to be a player at all IMO.

Perfect could not say it any better ,, I can't believe how bad this guy is , these guys look at all the film on these players they did not see this guy got his big plays off busted plays from big Ben I did not want to believe that but the proof is on the feild this guy ain't any good ..

Ted Ginn Jr. 2.0. Actually picked about where Ginn should have and used in Pitt the way we should have Ginn. And if all we wanted was a decoy Ginn would have done just as good.

5. He urinates outdoors instead of using a tiolet.
6. He wears crocs.
7. He spoils the ending of movies for others.
8. He eats the food off of other peoples plates when they go to use the restroom.

Keep it going.

I think he's also a bit stifled by the fact we run college plays that don't create confusion or match-ups. It's either on the OC that doesn't know better or because Tannehill is not there yet in his development?

The number one reason why Wallace stinks this year is because Tannehill doesn't have a good deep throw. I have a better deep throw than Tannehill and I can only throw the football 55 yards. Oh yea I forgot Tannehill has tunnel vision when he plays too and no pocket awareness. Put Matt More in if Tannehill has more than 2 turnover in the next game. That deep pass int to Wallace was terrible. He can't hit anyone in stride anymore. Instead of progessing he's regressing. I rest my case!!!

Wallace certainly doesn't live up to his hype, but it beats whoever we had there last year. I think we still need to address the long term WR issues in the draft...I don't see Wallace being on this team in 2 years.

Tannehill is currently no worse than average in the NFL in his downfield accuracy.

Its not that he is a bad route runner; he is a lazy route runner. He rounds his out patterns, which allows the CB to jump the route. How is it that Hartline gets open and this jerk can't? It is because Hartline is an exceptional route runner and not because of speed or physical play. On top of that, Hartline makes fantastic catches; he's usually good for at least 1 highlight-reel worthy catch every game. I agree that Wallace's routes need to be diversified, but he also needs to do his part and create separation by running the route properly and not being lazy. He would get so much more separation if he learned to stop and start properly.

The drops are obviously not good. What I really don't like is not seeing him fight for the ball at all. There was a back shoulder throw yesterday which was pretty well placed but the defender got a hand on it and broke it up. If Wallace actually attempts to make a play on it, theres a good chance he can catch it. But he made no adjustment and waited on the ball. The concern everyone had coming into the season was that Wallace is a one trick pony. Sure looks like that is true. Worst of all is we can't even get that one trick right. Ugh.
