Mike Wallace.....the dead horse

Cut Mike some slack. Our offense is better off with him simply being on the field. The guy would probably be at or near 1,000 yds and 6 or 7 TDs if Tannehill would`ve hit him on just two or three of his underthrown long balls. That`s what Mike brings to the table....a deep threat! Period.

This argument is silly. Its just another reason for the Fireland crown to bitch. They are some sad people now days.:idk:

And Teddy Ginn would not have demanded the same respect as a Mike Wallace yesterday. And if you think so, your village is looking for you.:ponder:

Ireland shouldn't be fired because Mike Wallace was a bad signing. We really had no choice but to overpay for Wallace w/ what we had at receiver.
Ireland should be fired because he dumped a Great receiver for what amounted to nothing, in favor of signing a good receiver for a lot more money. Awful.

I think we should sure be asking ourselves why we're taking such a cap hit for a guy who essentially offers nothing out of the ordinary on plays in which he isn't hit downfield with dead-on precision, and who drops too many of the passes in which he is. Straight-line speed with few if any other skills doesn't warrant that kind of money.

For a guy obsessed with tannehills stats and play, you easily see that he has missed 6-7 TDs this season which probably equals 400+ yards of receiving for wallace wide open with multiple steps on sometimes multiple defenders. That speed is so deadly it smokes double teams by 5 yards sometimes. I love tannehill but its a work in progress with that. That throw wasn't there against pitt. Even on tannehill's pick six, wallace had single coverage and came back to ball with defender 5-8 yards off him. Had he thrown that route he probably burns defender in open field. Time will tell. Wallace and Tannehill are here to stay.
