Mike Wallace - 85 total targets. 44 Receptions. 534 Yards 1 TD (Hes only on record for 3 drops... lmfao. That is too funny) 5 years 60 million (Making 15 this year)

Ted Ginn Jr. - 39 total targets. 24 receptions. 411 yards. 3 TD. Hes making 750,000 this year.

Lets face it... Mike Wallace is a good number 2 reciever but is not a number 1. He cant go up against the elite corners in the league and isnt a good route runner. So far looks like a wasted contract. Now i want Wallace to Succeed... But IDK if that can happen if he is the "go to guy"

Do i think Ted Ginn is better? No... Im just comparing their stats and saleries and what they would do for this team... Basically what im saying is that Ted Ginn can come in and be a decoy/deep threat for 1/15th the amount of money. Because thats all Wallace is right now is a Decoy.

Another Wallace sucks thread?

Guess we should start saving these just in case he puts up 10 TD's and 1,000 yards next year.

They drafted Ginn to high...paid him too high, trained him to much, said bye bye real quick and now he is where he belonged all along. A spotty threat who is still scared of contact but makes appropriate $$ for what he is asked to do.

Sounds like classic Ireland

if tannehill could throw a deep ball accurately you wouldnt be complaining about wallace. put wallace with an elite qb and he shines, put him with an average, mediocre qb who is pretty horrible when it comes to completing deep passes and this is what you get.

Mike Wallace 4576 YArds 33 TD's (4.5 years)
Ted Ginn 2459 yards 9 TD's (6.5 years)

The Panthers use Ginn effectively because they line him up in different spots and then run different routes with him, and design plays to spring him into space. We just line Mike Wallace up on the right side and tell him to either run deep or come back.

read below, thank you.

Wow you guys are morons. Nowhere in my post do i say GInn is better. Im just saying for what Wallace is doing at 15 million this year, Gin could be doing at 750k.

So you think with the kind of protection Tanny's been getting, that Ginn would have faired better at getting more receptions?

I'm pretty sure you're wrong about Wallace making $15 million this season

His base salary is $ 1million
His s bonus is $2.2 million
His Misc bonus is $50k

His cap hit this season is $3,250,000

Not sure where you got $15 million for this season...next year is a different story

What im saying is for 750k.. Ginn could be just as effective as a deep threat decoy as Wallace is.. Because right now.. All Wallace has been is a Decoy. I dont understand how its that hard to comprehend. Its the truth.

Am i saying Ginn is better? No.. What im saying is for all that Wallace has done so far this year... He could be replaced with just about any speed burner. Cuz all he is there for is a deep threat decoy right now.

WHen he signed the contract he signed it for 5 years 60 million... WIth 30 million coming in the first 2 years. THats where i got in from. Guess i am mistaken for what he is making this season.
