Dude was basically a bust until something woke him up in 2010. Broken ankle and Seahawks aquiring Sidney Rice in 2011 along with Kellen Winslow Jr. and out he goes.

What ya guys think?

Might be worth a look. 65 Rec. 750 Yds. in 2010 with Hasselbeck throwing him the rock. Numbers fell off when scrub Jackson throwing the ball, also drafted Doug Baldwin brought in Zach Miller.

Woohoo ... let's send out the hearse & see if there's a pulse!! Man we're diligent ... we never miss a corpse!!

Definitely one of the more interesting thoughts for acquiring a WR I've heard. Would we have to trade for him? What was his deal last year, injured for the whole season? Never recovered?

*edit- Just saw he was released today. I would definitely bring him in for a look, he's basically what we're hoping Roberto Wallace will become (or what MW could've been). I'd bring him in for a look, see what hes got left

From what I have read he had a comeback year in 2010.

2011 broke his ankle. He has been cut, not sure how it works in the off season but I believe any team is allowed to sign him, not sure if still clearing waivers in off season?

He had a ****ty year last year with Tavaris Jackson and a bum ankle. He might do alright with Moore/Garrard.

Hmm, well looking at his stats, he isn't the most impressive.

2010 is really is only somewhat notable year, 65 catches - 750 yrds - 2 tds.

After thinking it all through, I'd have to change my opinion to a pass on him honestly

Well his "breakout" year was 2010. He was basically considered top 5 bust all time until then.

Career stats. Basically laughable, but who knows former top 10 pick. Maybe Philbin can work his magic?

He came into this offseason 40 pounds over weight, he's not a very hard worker in the offseason. But I guess it wouldn't hurt to see what he can do in training camp.

C'mon man .... seriously.

I live in the Seattle market area and see the Seahawk's games. I expected very little from him but thought he was very good and under rated in 2010. Then with Jackson and the bum ankle he fell off last year. Frankly, I was surprised he was cut. If his ankle is good he is worth a look in my opinion.

He has not shown the ability to stay healthy (or fit) so far in his career. I think this is someone we should pass on.

A WR with a history (deserved) of not being disciplined shows up to off-season over 20lbs overweight (weighing over 250 lbs, mind you) and you don't think that's a surefire way to be cut?

I'll pass. I think that it would be best to see what they have first before they bring in more potential dead weight.
