Here's a listing of the top breakaway RB's in the NFL in 2013. Miller did very well considering the openings he was given from our blocking. Looking forward to more of these this year.

I like Miller I just think he needs to work on his break away angles. I think we all remember when he should have had a touchdown but took a bad angle and fumbled instead. Here's hoping he improves

I don't think anyone doubts Miller has break away speed or potential.

His issue is field vision and well..... he goes down at the slightest contact.

Sure, I would understand if Miller ran into a DT, maybe LB. But we have seen Miller over and over again go down at the first hit from CB's.

Dude needs to learn leverage and power through.

Actually, ALL of our RB's need to learn to power through initial contact. D. Thomas LITERALLY stands up and stops moving when he goes into contact.

Watch some tape on him. He stops his feet and stands still. I can't understand it.

Miller looks as if he trips over himself when he goes into contact.

While Miller has shown to be a breakaway threat as a RB, he has not shown the same as a receiver. He did catch 26 if 30 passes to him, with only one drop, he only had two of 22 and 18 yards. I'm wondering if Moreno will be a 3rd down back, as opposed to a starter.

IF the OL proves that it can run block around average, having a breakaway threat adds so much to play action (see Bush 2012), and will be a BIG help to Tannehill and the pressure he gets, and how many are in coverage. Last year, you could see that the D gave little consideration to the run and pretty much ignored play action, where RT does well.

I think Miller is better suited for the new spread offense. If the offensive line can create the huge holes that come with the scheme, he should be able to take advantage. He's a very effective running back if you can get him space to get moving.

Yeah, IF he gets some opening he's gonna change what the D does, and give us some chunk yardage. I see where the team is also trying him out in the return game which should be interesting to watch. Don't think he will do well on punts but, kicks could work out well.

Hopefully having an improved offensive line compared to last year with give Miller more of a chance to break these runs. He has the speed to get away from these guys and he didn't have a horrible season like many think. It wasn't great but could have been better if our offensive line wasn't as bas as it was. This year shall tell what he can do.
