Sooooooo, I'm going to minicamp tomorrow, both sessions. I've never been, and was wondering just how easy or difficult it is to obtain autographs. I'm going to bring a panel ball, and see if I can get some good ones. I'm just wondering if it's common for some of our bigger stars to come over and sign? Do I need to stand in a particular spot really early on to increase my chances? Do they sign after both sessions, or ever before the sessions? Do I need to wear the costume of a small child to cover up the fact that I'm some lame 24 year old begging for autographs? Any advice or input whatsoever would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

First of all, get there an hour early to avoid the masses. Have a snack, check out the proshop, and just soak up the view/atmosphere. That hour will pass quickly. Based on my camp experiences, certain players seemed to be "assigned" autograph duty. They were usually not the big time guys. However, guys like Zach will come to the fence in front of the stands occasionally to sign, but it's very hit or miss. As far as kids go, they will always get them first, accept it, that's just the way it is. Just borrow your nephew, god son ect. and bring him/her along.

i was really dissapointed when i went to TC last year.the players dont sign unless its the night session.the best players i got were brown and crowder.i was so mad after that but at least i got them

just stay by the corner of that fence the whole practice. i got chambers and randy to sign my hat a few years back

Yeah, good point. The fence all the way to the left (looking from the stands) is were most of the autograph action is. Watch out though, when the signings start, you'll feel like your in a Japanese subway.

Last TC i went to they changed the policy. They barred all people from standing at the fence until practice ended.

Generally 5 or 6 players will come over to sign some autographs. Generally you wont get a lot of big names guys. (more on that later)

Kids always get theirs first so bring one if you got one. There are 2 reasons for this. 1- The players want to be role models. and 2- They dont want to sign stuff for people who will just end up selling it. Generally all the big name guys only sign when they are being paid for it.

I expect culpepper will be there signing as most NEW players like to connect with the fans.

ALSO- Call them out! This works great for lesser knowns... I got KJ's easy by yelling to him. David Bowens also came over when I yelled at him.

Last but not least: Please remeber that the people around you are your brothers in arms. We are all there to see our beloved team. A little courtesy will go a long way...

I'll be there on SAT... I wear a white Welker Jersey (First official one the Pro-shop EVER sold) or a White Finheaven T-shirt. My name is Ben so feel free to say hi... (5'8", caucasian, Brown hair and eyes...and coincadentally a black Jetta)
